Pirate Barber is a one-chair barbershop in Cove, Utah, run by Max, taking clients from across Cache Valley. This policy explains what limited information this site collects when you visit or get in touch, and how it is used. The short version: the site is built to stay quiet. It runs no advertising trackers, sets no advertising cookies, and only handles the details you choose to send when you reach out to book.
Information you give us
When you call or text (435) 764-5900, or send a message through the contact form on this site, you share the details you choose to give. The contact form collects your name, email, phone number, and your message. That information is used for one thing: to respond to you and book your appointment. It is not sold, rented, or used for marketing.
Form submissions are handled by a form service that relays them by email to the shop, and calls and texts go straight to Max's phone. Please send only what you are comfortable sharing.
Information collected automatically
Like every website, this one is served over the internet, so some standard technical information reaches the hosting provider whenever a page loads. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, and Cloudflare processes standard request data such as your IP address, browser type, and the referring page in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. This is ordinary server and network information, not something the shop reviews about you personally.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand roughly how many people visit and which pages they read. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, does not use fingerprinting, and collects no personal information. It does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking. There is no ad network and no marketing pixel here. The site does load fonts from Google Fonts so the pages render as intended, and when a font loads your browser requests it from Google, which means Google may log standard request data such as your IP address as part of serving the font.
Your choices and rights
Your personal information is never sold. You can ask to see, correct, or delete any details you have sent to the shop at any time by getting in touch. Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents may opt out of the sharing of personal information for advertising. This site does not share your information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
